Do you need to have a working speedometer to take an emissions test? - speedometer test

I've got to examine the issue and I need to work on my speedometer.

I'm a smog technician, and I want an opinion, but not necessary. The machine shows us how fast you want us to leave, and your speedometer has nothing to do with it. The machine has its own speedometer.
However, if your car is newer than the first half of the nineties, the computer can see in your car, that the speedometer does not work, and turn the check engine light. Who will be your emissions test failure.
The light should illuminate when you turn off the engine and get out while the engine is running and stay out or test fails.

Good Luck

No. not lead anywhere.
If anything, it will rely on a bank and use it to speed test run.

let it be said...

im pretty sure you do not need to roll everything they used in a building and then pulled a style dyno machine and add a leading player in the exhaust pipe

There is a very good chance that the operator does not notice, but the police in your mirror knows that something strange happened.
